Earle Dresner shot his first commercial in 2001, as a 23 year old, while working in the camera department at Film Graphics Productions. Over the next few years he continued to shoot commercials, music videos and short films while assisting some of Australia’s best DPs. He paid close attention to their different styles, enabling him to develop his own style and skills set.

Earle brings his unique enthusiasm, passion and creativity to every project. He believes strongly in thorough preparation through countless reference materials and in depth collaboration with the director. He is committed to creating a look for each project that is right for the story, emotion and mood.

Earle has shot over 100 commercials, music videos and short films in several countries and has developed the technique and confidence to put his mark on any project.

2009 has been a busy year with dozens of commercials and 3 short films.
The year culminated in Earle shooting 2nd Unit on the Australian feature ‘The Reef’ in Queensland in October.

Earle is deeply passionate about the art of filmmaking and while he loves the immediacy and intricacy of commercials, he is committed to pursuing more drama projects. He is also inspired by stills photography and has developed a collection of stills mainly focusing on human expression and diverse cultures.
