Lloyd Harvey and Spencer Harvey are a brother and sister director/editor team, who have been turning heads on the film festival circuit. With their recent selection of 4 films edited by and 3 films directed by the duo in this years Dungog Film Festival the pair are getting noticed. Since their big splash as the Producers/Directors/Editors on the first official Make Poverty History in 2007 TVC with songstress Missy Higgins, Lloyd and Spencer have been busy.
“We’re commited to doing great work with great people” Spencer says “It’s great to be able to bring passion to the workplace and I always find this philosophy to be contagious in any team.”
The pair were honoured to be the editors on AFI award winner Nicholas Hope’s short film “Complicity” which won a spot in the Sydney Film Festival. “The film industry is uniquely rewarding” Says Lloyd, “When you finish a project you have your own sense of pride and then once it is shared you get to be proud all over again.”
Last year continued with 2 edited works going off to L.A. shorts and other festivals across America whilst their long short “The Tragedy of Gerald Berdmen” was selected to screen at Bondi Short Film Festival. Just recently they have been invited to screen their directorial short “Last Night” at the Salento International Film Festival in Italy.

For those looking to work with Harvey House Productions as Editors or Directors or in any other capacity, you certainly get two minds in one. “We complement each other” says Spencer “He sees what I don’t see and I see what he doesn’t and together, somehow, we can always see the same picture.”
