NICOLE LOBEGEIGER
HAIRDRESSER AND MAKE UP ARTIST
Nicole Lobegeiger went to art school to study painting and sculpture and ended up spending most of her
time in the clothing design department. After a short stint as a fashion designer and stylist, she realised
the canvas she most loved were people’s faces.
Over the years she’s done a bunch of courses in fashion and make-up, skin care and product making,
hair styling and aromatherapy. However, she considers the majority of her skills to have been self taught
and developed out of necessity and desire.
Her career has been an exciting progression, starting with fashion editorial, lifestyle and parades, to
catalogues, music videos, television commercials and now a feature film ‘Macbeth’.
Her wide range of experience across these mediums has resulted in an invaluable accumulation of technical
knowledge. This experience covers every aspect of make-up from application methods to visual effects,
resulting in a completely inherent understanding of the art itself.
Her numerous commercials and print media campaigns include major brands such as Nike, Sony, Guinness,
Heineken, Panteen, Olay, David Jones, Mercedes Bens, Range Rover, and Coke. This month Qantas’s new
Choir commercial is being released, which had her trekking around outback Australia with Jeff Darling.
Lobegeiger is absolutely mad about her job and gets genuinely excited about every project she works on.
Her core strength lies in her ability to creatively interpret concepts and come up with imaginative solutions
That are both contemporary and modern.
